Masking Scores
Component Score Description
Masking Effectiveness (Bark) - How well the masker's energy covers the weighted bark bands (lower frequencies have more impact then higher frequencies)
Temporal Correlation (Sp.Flux) - How well the masker's loudness changes match the target's loudness changes (CMR, Comodulation Masking Release).
Timbral Similarity (MFCC) - How similar masker and target noise are in texture (based on MFCCs).
Pitch Similarity (Chroma) - How similar masker and target noise are in pitch (dominant chroma should be the same, a musical fifth is also OK).
Timbral Blending Score - A combined score of how well the masker and target blend based on temporal, timbral, and pitch similarity.
Masking Goodness Score - Estimation how well the masker will mask the target noise
