(z.B. "C Major")

Tonart: Die über das gesamte Musikstück hinweg berechnete Haupttonart (z. B. C-Dur oder A-Moll). Sie wird durch den Abgleich der gesammelten Notenenergien mit mathematischen Standard-Tonartprofilen ermittelt (Krumhansl-Schmuckler Key Profiles).

Aktueller Akkord: Der in einem gleitenden Zeitfenster (die letzten 60 Frames) am wahrscheinlichsten erkannte Akkord. Bleibt das Ergebnis uneindeutig, wird "uncertain" ausgegeben (Cosine Similarity für Akkordstrukturen).

0.0 bis 1.0
(entspricht MIDI 0 bis 127)

Tonhöhen-Schwerpunkt: Der energetische "Mittelpunkt" aller gespielten Frequenzen, umgerechnet auf die MIDI-Skala. Ein hoher Wert bedeutet, dass im aktuellen Moment die hohen Töne und Obertöne dominieren.

Non-Chord Energy Ratio

0.0 bis 1.0

Verhältnis von Klangfarbe zu Rauschen: Misst das Verhältnis von rhythmischen/perkussiven Anteilen (wie Hi-Hats, Snares) und Rauschen im Vergleich zum gesamten Frequenzspektrum. Basiert auf dem "Timbre"-Band von clubber.js.

Harmonic Tension

Harmonische Spannung: Zeigt die gefühlte harmonische Reibung. Die Spannung steigt, wenn die gespielten Töne schlecht zur globalen Tonart passen oder der aktuelle Akkord uneindeutig ist. Sie sinkt, sobald der Akkord perfekt mit der Tonart harmoniert.

Timbre Density: Indicates how many of the 128 MIDI notes are active at the same time. An exponential scaling in the script particularly emphasizes subtle differences in denser timbres.

The main key calculated across the entire piece of music (e.g., C major or A minor). It is determined by comparing the accumulated musical energies with standard mathematical key profiles (Krumhansl-Schmuckler Key Profiles).

Current Chord

Text output
(e.g. "G maj", "uncertain")

The chord most likely to be identified within a sliding window (the last 60 frames). If the result is ambiguous, "uncertain" is returned (cosine similarity for chord structures).

Pitch Centroid

0.0 to 1.0
(corresponds to MIDI 0 to 127)

The energetic "center" of all played frequencies, converted to the MIDI scale. A high value indicates that high notes and overtones are dominating at the moment.

Non-Chord Energy Ratio

0.0 to 1.0

Timbre-to-noise ratio: Measures the ratio of rhythmic/percussive elements (such as hi-hats and snares) to noise relative to the entire frequency spectrum. Based on the "Timbre" band from clubber.js.

Harmonic Tension

0.0 to 1.0
(0% to 100%)

Indicates the perceived harmonic tension. The tension increases when the notes played clash with the global key or when the current chord is ambiguous. It decreases as soon as the chord harmonizes perfectly with the key.
